What to Expect from a Revibe Sound Healing Treatment

Heather’s Sound Bath Treatment

The room will be prepared prior to your arrival with a cleansing ritual and smudging of the room.

When you arrive, Heather will go over sound healing, how it works and what to expect.  She will also answer any questions you may have. Although sound healing is safe for almost everyone, some medical devices can be affected.  It is best to discuss any concerns with Heather prior to the session.

You will be asked to lay in comfortable clothes, on a treatment bed.  You will be offered blankets and pillows for comfort and warmth.  An eye mask will be offered for deeper relaxation.

A grounding meditation is led by Heather. Once grounded, crystal bowls are rung and tapped to create harmonies to help release tension and promote deep relaxation. Himalayan bowls are placed on and around the body, balancing energy as they are moved through different energy centers.  Chimes, cymbals and drumming are also used to move energy and promote natural vibrational alignment.

The sounds and vibrations used in sound healing sessions affect the body at a cellular level, promoting relaxation and healing from within. The experience can be deeply meditative and may help to clear the mind, reduce anxiety, and release emotional and physical tension.

How Long Does a Sound Bath Last?

A sound healing treatment usually lasts 45-60 minutes.  During this time your body will be responding to the different vibrations.  It is normal to experience tingling, muscle twitching or warm sensations as stagnant energy moves and balances.  It is not unusual for flashes of memories or emotions also to come up.  This is all normal as your body and mind rebalance. You will leave with a feeling of harmony and peace within your body.

Although there is usually very little talking, any discomfort or concerns should be brought up immediately during the session. After the session, allow for extra time for reflection and discussion.
